Safari Chair in Tan Leather by Kaare Klint for Rud Rasmussen, 1960s, Denmark

A hero of Danish design, Kaare Klint's Safari chair designed in 1933 was possibly the first example of self-assembled furniture. This simplified approach to construction was well ahead of it's time with its tool free assemblage. A piece for the ultimate collector to slouch back in, with a fully restored frame and beautifully patinated tan leather seat. A second safari chair available in a rich burgundy, each sold separately.
