We’re thrilled to invite you to the upcoming exhibition, Relics Today, the first exhibition focused entirely on objects and design pieces. Inspired by archaeology which relies on remnants of everyday objects to reveal the day-to-day lives of ancient civilisations, uncovering creativity, style and innovations.

This exhibition looks at contemporary objects through the same lens of enquiry and features some of Australia’s leading ceramicists including, Peta Armstrong, Ella Bendrups, Dáša Ceramics (Hana Vasak), Hearth Collective (Alichia van Rhijn), Nicolette Johnson, Tessy King, Claudia Lau, and Zhu Ohmu.

Through these objects we turn to the act of observing and reflecting on our culture, its comforts and style, much in the way that archeologists examine remnants of ancient civilisations. The artisans that make these pieces transcribe our experiences, influences and inspirations exposing the innovation and creativity of our species.”
— Irina Asriian, Gallery Curator
