What makes an object of desire? We think it is beautiful form, mastery of technique, original concepts, tactile textures and sensitive use of colour. The techniques employed in the crafting of these pieces vary widely from the 3D porcelain printing techniques of contemporary Australian ceramicists Alterfact to the meticulous hand throwing employed by Nicolette Johnson.
