About the work:
Aurora, Ceramic Vessel by Katarina Wells.
This piece is part of Radiant Dreams, a group exhibition showcasing the work of more than 50 artists from the Modern Times community. Radiant Dreams invited our artists to unleash their most vibrant work, embracing colour, movement and verve. The resulting works are a buoyant collection reflecting optimism, energy and hope as we emerge from the monotonous routine of lockdown.
”The meaning of Aurora is dawn. I feel the dawning of a new, bright and shiny future where greed and materialism is replaced by love and appreciation for Mother Earth,” Wells says.
About the Artist:
Austrian born Katarina Wells works from her home studio on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. Most of her pieces ‘grow’ slowly over a period of up to a week; a process that allows her to step back and observe where a piece intends to go.
