About the work:
Dream Code 4, Original Artwork by Emily Besser.
This piece is part of Radiant Dreams, a group exhibition showcasing the work of more than 50 artists from the Modern Times community. Radiant Dreams invited our artists to unleash their most vibrant work, embracing colour, movement and verve. The resulting works are a buoyant collection reflecting optimism, energy and hope as we emerge from the monotonous routine of lockdown.
“These works are my Radiant Dream. After multiple lockdowns from March 2020, these works came to me just as the London summer light was turning paler and the days were getting shorter. Chancing on this format: small, colourful and dense, helped me to turn a long dark winter into something else entirely. The daily play with colours and tangle of pattern-problems kept me hopeful and gave me purpose each day,” Besser says.
