Original Painting by Melbourne artist Christopher Jewitt framed in Pacific teak with a polished beeswax finish.

Portraying subject matter in a playful manner between abstract and figurative, Christopher Jewitt’s style is reminiscent of childhood notebook doodles and simple scribbles. His paintings express his fixation for quotidian objects in a tempest of colour and marks.

This original artwork is part of Modern Times’ group exhibition Ritual Practice.

“All my paintings are created by following a set sequence of mark making. These marks are imbued with contrast, vim and vigour. Light, dark, thick and thin.
