When the Full Moon Rises On a Soft Heart, Original Painting by Kayleigh Heydon
When the Full Moon Rises on a Soft Heart, Original Painting by Kayleigh Heydon
An original painting by Melbourne based artist Kayleigh Heydon, acrylic on board framed.
Heydon fills the canvas with a rich tapestry of shape and colour. This lively interaction gives each work its own distinct sense of energy and an unmistakable joie de vivre. Although abstract, many of the works recently produced by Kayleigh possess an engaging narrative quality evoking a sense of heightened social interaction.
This original artwork is part of Modern Times’ group exhibition Ritual Practice.
“Most of my mornings start differently depending on where I am or what I’m doing that day, and there are a few small personal rituals I like to practice each morning. However there is one ritual in particular that I think my work really shapes itself around, and is integral not just to my well-being, but also my artistic practice as a whole.
Yoga is a really important and grounding practice I try and work in to my schedule most days; it keeps me centred and gives me the space and capacity for my domestic thoughts to quiet down so my creativity can expand into other parts of my practice.” – Kayleigh Heydon
