This piece is part of Radiant Dreams, a group exhibition showcasing the work of more than 50 artists from the Modern Times community. Radiant Dreams invited our artists to unleash their most vibrant work, embracing colour, movement and verve. The resulting works are a buoyant collection reflecting optimism, energy and hope as we emerge from the monotonous routine of lockdown.

“I’m looking forward to new beginnings, to a new start, better times for all of us with that same joyful anticipation I had as a child on Christmas morning,” Griffin says.

About the Artist:

Born in Melbourne, Tony Griffin is a Ballarat-based painter and printmaker with over forty-years’ experience in the visual arts. His carefully observed and detailed work explores our everyday world and the curious dependencies we have with our everyday things. Griffin has exhibited locally, interstate and internationally in group and solo exhibitions and his work is held in both public and private collections.
