Salt and Sky IV, a limited edition photographic artwork from the ‘Salt and Sky’ series by Brooke Holm.
Salt and Sky depicts the salt fields of Western Australia. The salt field landscapes captured are based within the UNESCO Heritage site of Shark Bay and provide a visually stunning example of nature and human intervention entwined. Shot from above, the salt ponds and harvested fields create graphic compositions with painterly textures in ice-cream hues.
About the artist:
Brooke Holm is an Australian/American photographer who has garnered global attention for her aesthetic and photographic sensibility. Working across the globe, Holm’s art practice focuses on revering the sublime elements of nature and in turn, examining the human context within that environment.
This limited edition print is from Brooke’s 2016 solo exhibition at Modern Times Salt and Sky.
