The Rushcutters Bench is opulently woven with hand-dyed Danish cord. Textual and tactile, the piece combines the woven cord with a stainless steel frame, meticulously polished to a mirror sheen.
Exhibited at Melbourne Design Fair 2022.
About the Designer:
James Howe is a furniture and lighting designer from Adelaide, drawing inspiration from what he observes in nature, city landscapes and utilitarian man-made objects. His pieces are textual, tactile, imbued with a lightness and sophistication of form. He has been recognised in a number of design awards, including being named one of six finalists in the 2017 Australian Furniture Design Award.
