Gio Ponti is widely considered one of the Italian masters of architecture and design.
Born in 1891 in Milan, he studied Architecture at the Polytechnic of Milan, and shortly after opened a studio with architect Emilio Landia. And in 1928 he founded Domus Magazine with Gianni Mazzocchi.
Throughout his career as an architect and designer, he collaborated with influential furniture houses such as Cassina and Molteni & C, and worked across numerous architectural projects including Casa Marmont. His furniture designs are celebrated and sought after today for their incredible craftsmanship and unwavering commitment to material and quality.
