If you ever wanted an armchair to sink into and feel effortlessly cool while doing so, look no further than the Portovenere Wingback Chair. Designed by Vico Magistretti for Cassina in the 1980s, it is the ultimate in chic vintage design and comfort. Lesser known than Magistretti’s Maralunga, it features many of the same characteristics, but it slightly more eccentric in its design. With a high back, large curved sides and armrests and a wide, low seat, it’s designed for lounging and relaxing in style. The fabric is supreme quality and still in very good condition, and the ‘wings’ are adjustable for desired comfort. We have a matching cream sofa available, as well as a navy armchair.
