Designed for good-quality, functional but beautiful living, the rare Scale Coat Rack – or Toonladder – designed by Coen de Vries for Pilastro in 1953 perfectly encapsulates 20th Century Dutch design. Designed with human function front of mind, it is also a design feature in its own right. The wall-mounted frame is constructed from black steel and features nine lacquered metal hooks in black, white and red. The hooks can be moved and adjusted to suit your needs. Hang coats and jackets on the hooks, and loop scarves and bags through the frame for easy storage. Fill it up and utilise the rack of leave minimal and enjoy the design!
