Vintage Danish rosewood furniture sits in a league of its own – the material itself is a thing of beauty, and paired with the core tenets of mid-century Danish design, the effect is truly elegant. The timber of this particular table has been crown cut; these types of veneers tend to have a strong grain pattern in their centre and a more linear effect at the edges. As well as this, there is a hexagonal border across the top of the table – a subtle detail that conveys its quality. This table has one extension leaf measuring 500mm, transforming the table from a compact piece to one for slightly larger gatherings within minutes.
