The instantly recognisable Tulip dining table is a favourite among vintage design enthusiasts and budding appreciators alike. The elegant design was first created by Eero Saarinen in 1956 with his famous Tulip collection of chairs and tables. The Tulip series designed by Maurice Burke and manufactured by Arkana in Bath (UK) references the Saarinen original yet still holds much of its own merit and value. This particular piece features a cast aluminium base painted white and a stunning marble top with a definitive and strong grey vein. Celebrate an iconic 20th century design at home with this great vintage piece. You can seat 5-6 people thanks to the pedestal base and it looks simply stunning as a feature on its own. Oak chairs look particularly beautiful against the marble, or a set of chrome cantilevers would be equally as striking.
