After visiting the United States early in his career, Braakman was heavily inspired by the work of The Herman Miller Company and Charles and Ray Eames. Upon his return to The Netherlands, he created Pastoe’s first modern furniture collection marked by clean, elegant lines and a sense of proportion tailored to smaller living spaces. This writing desk is a beautiful example of his work, and a stunning vintage piece to cherish well into the future.
