We always say that vintage lighting is a a great opportunity to inject character into a space and this couldn’t ring more true than for this super cool small table lamp by Raak. True to Raak’s reputation, this piece exudes a certain futuristic vibe thanks to the combination of aluminium and chrome employed throughout. The wacky shape is also a huge drawcard – we love the angular, geometric form. This piece is in good condition and the switch is positioned on the cord for ease.

Raak was one of the foremost Dutch lighting manufacturers of the 20th century. Their collection of table lamps, floor lamps, pendants, and wall lights were regarded as both elegant and slightly futuristic thanks to the use of high quality materials and innovative forms. Their tagline was ‘Illuminated Architecture’, emphasising the brand’s desire to produce pieces that not only worked well within, but also enhanced sophisticated interiors.
