Designers of the 20th Century knew how to design lighting with spirit without compromising on sophistication. Ettore Sottsass – one of the founding members of the iconic Memphis movement – was one such visionary. His Pausania table lamp produced by equally iconic Artemide is instantly recognisable – the striking cubic form and use of colour are what set this piece apart. It is crafted from plastic and chrome and the light omits from the perforated chrome section at the top, giving a subtle green glow. Place on a sideboard as a feature, or it’d be a great option for a home office.
