Lumena Candelabra in Hand Built Ceramic with Charcoal Glaze by Kerryn Levy.

Kerryn Levy aims to bring people together through a shared love of clay, landscape and beautiful objects. Using traditional ceramic processes, she creates objects that have a connection to the human body that formed them, and the landscape from whence they came.

This work was created in response to Modern Times’ exhibition Transcendence.

“The candelabra is not a new concept but its presence in an exhibition like this implies our desire – in this busy, non-stop culture – to slow down, reflect and take pleasure in creating quieter, more meaningful spaces,” shares Kerryn.

This event is part of Melbourne Design Week 2020, an initiative of the Victorian Government in collaboration with the NGV. Visit our showroom to view the exhibition from March 12 – 22.
