Individually handmade jewellery dish in grey stoneware. Painted by hand in a blue glaze with gold lustre. Sharon Muir is a ceramic artist based in Brisbane. She creates a range of homewares as well as ceramic collage sculpture pieces from her studio at the Metro Arts Substation No 9. Sharon studied ceramics at RMIT, graduating with a Masters in Fine Art with Distinction and has exhibited her ceramic sculpture nationally and internationally. She works with red and white clay to produce wares with bold, graphic hand-painted and hand-textured detail. The range includes pots for indoor plants, vases, fruit bowls, share platters and small hand dishes, great for jewellery or small bits and bobs.
