Bettina is a Melbourne based ceramics artist whose practice considers the connection between material, form, nature, architecture and memory within contemporary ceramics.

Organic structures, golden and textural glazes are characteristics of her sculptural pieces.

“This ceramic work imagines coral-like architecture as standing in for limbs, the body, time and memory. It is both ancient and alive – a kind of mannerist playfulness shines through as the artist borrows openly from different times, continents and personal identities.”
